Massaya Restaurant, nestled on Cowley Road in Oxford, is a gem in the realm of Lebanese cuisine. Diners consistently rave about the deliciousness and authenticity of its offerings. Wendy Woo “Woo” Couser found the food to be utterly delightful, not to mention the lovely atmosphere and attentive service that elevates the dining experience, earning it a stellar five-star rating.
Guests like Danaika Rita De Souza commend the well-presented dishes, with the mixed grill shining brightly among the culinary stars, complemented by the delightful Qatayef dessert. Similarly, Arzoo Ahmed highlights the array of mezze, particularly the kalaaj and hummus awarma, which are praised for their freshness and lightness.
The restaurant's dedication to customer satisfaction is notable, as seen in katie hayle’s birthday celebration where the staff went the extra mile, adding a personal touch with a complimentary drink and a beautifully adorned dessert. Ana Espejo’s experience encapsulates the essence of Massaya: exceptional service paired with incredibly well-prepared flavors that make you want to return. Overall, Massaya Restaurant invites you to savor the richness of Lebanese food, ensuring each visit is memorable.

Fantastic food and service at Massaya! We ordered a selection of hot and cold mezze with a mixed grill from the mains. Highlights were the kalaaj (halloumi and olives grilled in a flat bread), hummus awarma (topped with mince and parsley), bamia (baby lady fingers in a tomato stew) & the mixed grill. All delicious, fresh and light! As a bonus, baklava and ice cream on the house. Highly recommend a visit.

Went here for my friends birthday. The food was incredible, so flavoursome and just amazing. We had lots of the different Mezze dishes. As it was my friends birthday, the staff, who are so friendly, gave her a complimentary drink to go with one of the dishes and a beautiful dessert of ice cream and Baklava. They even put a candle on when they bought it out. Had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

Amazing food. I got the mixed vegetable grill and it tasted amazing, lovely garlic dip, fries and the veggies were so flavourful. Everyone at my table loved everything they ordered. The service is also great, servers are smiling and friendly. Keep it up and thanks for the great time!

Taken by family, as they highly recommended it. Well, they weren't wrong. Exquisite food with service to match. Very nice Lebanese red wine, too!

Had my first visit here today, to try the lunchtime menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was served by Bishara who was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Sea Breem which was cooked to perfection as was the Basmati rice. The portion was adequate and tasted so fresh and looked so colourful in presentation. I had no idea the Lebanese produce their own wine, so I tried a glass of white. I can't say it will be a favourite but it was reasonably priced. I look forward to my next visit
